By taking part in this walking tour, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

 

Assumption of Risk: You understand that walking tours involve inherent risks. These can include, but are not limited to, uneven ground, obstacles, traffic, varying weather conditions, and interactions with other pedestrians. You are voluntarily assuming all risks associated with your participation in this tour, whether you can foresee them or not.

 

Physical Condition: You confirm that you are physically capable of participating in this walking tour and have no medical conditions that would prevent you from doing so or be made worse by it.

 

Personal Responsibility: You agree to be responsible for your own safety and well-being throughout the tour. We ask that you follow any instructions or guidelines provided by your greeter.

 

Waiver and Release of Liability: By participating, you, for yourself, your heirs, and anyone acting on your behalf, release and discharge Toronto Greeters, its volunteers, agents, and representatives (referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that you might experience, or to any of your property, while participating in the walking tour. This includes instances where such loss, damage, or injury may be caused by the negligence of the Released Parties.

 

Indemnification: You agree to protect and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that they might incur because of your participation in the walking tour, regardless of whether it's caused by your negligence or otherwise.
